The person behind Bible Glide
Built by one person.
Bible Glide is not run by a big company. I’m Nicholas, and I still build and run it myself. It started after a small-group Bible study because I wanted a better way to keep learning between meetings.
We’re expecting a baby in December. That has made me even more serious about building something useful and honest—something that keeps Scripture in front of you instead of trying to replace it.
Why the chapter guides exist
A chapter summary should help you enter the text, not replace it. Each guide pairs the complete chapter with a concise overview, nearby context, themes to notice, and questions that invite closer reading. You can use every public guide without creating an account.

Bible Glide uses software-assisted drafting to organize chapter summaries, context, themes, and study questions at Bible scale. The Scripture text remains the primary source. The supporting material is written to be clear and text-focused, and we revise it when we find an error or a better way to explain the chapter.
These guides are study aids, not a substitute for Scripture, pastoral care, or the teaching tradition of your church.

Bible Glide offers public-domain and openly licensed Bible translations. Translation details and source links are shown in the reader so you can identify the text you are reading.
