What is Revelation about?

Revelation opens with a clear focus on Christ and his message to the churches, then unfolds a series of symbolic visions showing God's rule over history. Seals, trumpets, bowls, beasts, and Babylon picture real spiritual conflict, human rebellion, and coming judgment. Through it all, the Lamb stands at the center. The book does not invite fear so much as faithfulness, urging believers to stay awake, keep worshiping, and trust God's timing. It ends with the defeat of evil and the renewal of all things, where God dwells with his people and life is made new.
